The system utilizes rig hydraulics and consists of control valves, piping, fittings and frame. The primary use is for coiled tubing and workover applications.
Rated at 5000 PSI and specially designed to connect the closing unit with the BOP stack and not be destroyed in blowout / wellfire situations.
Pipe racks are fabricated in 20 ft lengths incorporating hammer unions to join the pipe lengths and swivel joints to span changes in elevation and direction.
Grating can be installed on the racks to provide a walkway and protection for the piping. Optional brackets added to the sides provide protection for air or electric cable.
R & T trailer units feature unitized construction of skid and trailer frame. This design allows increased strength while offering reduced weight. Unit sizes are readily available from 20 gallons with trailer capacities large enough for transporting a BOP. The control panel is located such that it may be operated by standing on the ground.
R&T Controls' hydraulic test units are built for high pressure testing of primarily BOP stacks, choke and kill lines and wellhead trees. Test units are available in working pressures up to 30,000 psi and come in three standard configurations. All three types feature as standard equipment high pressure air powered hydraulic reciprocating pumps, needle valves, pressure gauge, air regulator, air & hydraulic reciprocating pumps, air lubricator, air supply valve, check valve, relief valve or rupture disc and hose rack.
Optional equipment offered is a chart recorder mounted on the unit or separately on a stand, test hose, low pressure gauge, 4-way valve for testing BOP or valve actuator and an additional pump for low pressure / high output applications.
Built per customer specification.
